Hello again!!Piano Improvisation Learn the Secrets here..Hi every one. Once again , thank you for your interest in these free online lessons. I sincerely hope that you are experiencing all the great benefits learning to play keyboards has to offer. I really appreciate each and everyone of you who take the time to contact me and offer suggestions for lessons. I really wish I could be there in person to help with everyone's goals when it comes to learning to play keyboards. It's hard to know where everyone is in their learning curve and your communications help me greatly. I have been very busy lately so its been a while since I have been able add content to Piano Lessons for Life.com...Sorry about that! Piano Improvisation. I get a lot of questions about how to improvise at the piano. Over the years I have had the opportunity to improvise melodies and piano solos over all kinds of musical styles. From country to jazz, the principal of improvisation can be learned and once you begin to get it, you will find that it is perhaps the most fun you can have at the piano. Just a Beginner? That may actually be an advantage! Many classically trained sight readers have difficulty with the concept of playing something not written on the page. Beginners have no bad habits, no limiting beliefs about what is possible. Many professional piano players are not good sight-readers. They just don’t need to be. Successful piano players know the key to improvisation is developing the connection between the brain and hands. Once you develop that brain/hand connection your creativity can kick in and use you musical vocabulary that has already been learned and stored as muscle memory. Since piano improvisation is a big subject I will be adding regular lessons that cover everything I know about how you can learn this awesome skill.. You can start by clicking on the link below for the very basics. While on the site take time to explore and perhaps you will find other lessons that will work for you. Shameless Commerce SectionFeature Article --- A Personal ReferralThere are literally tons of music sites out there --- some are quite informative while others simply waste your time. As I was surfing the net (a while back), I came across a site that simply blew me away! It offered over 60 free online piano lessons, resources, and even a Beginners Gospel Piano Course for students who are serious about learning to play gospel music by ear. As I began reading about the Gospel Keys 101 course, I was truly amazed at all the topics covered in this course. It covered beginning techniques, music theory, chords, harmony, improvisation, and more! Believe me... these are just some of the concepts in the course. To tell you the truth --- I can't even remember all of topics covered because there are so many. At this point, I knew I had to contact the author about setting up some type of deal for my website visitors. I have good news --- I was able to get an unbeatable deal to offer my visitors this course at more than half off. I personally recommend "Gospel Keys 101" course and through my relationship with Jermaine (the author of this course), I've been able to get him to throw in some bonus items (you'll see them once you visit the site). He has taught literally thousands of musicians how to play the piano by ear. I don't know how long he can allow me to offer my visitors this amazing bargain, but if you are serious about learning to play the piano by ear, I wouldn't pass up this opportunity. Click here to learn the secrets to playing gospel hymns and congregational songs by ear. I highly recommend it.
Also you can find a contact form on the site and suggest a song for a future lesson. Don't be shy. Let me know how i can help!! I am grateful for all of you, and wish you the best success in your playing!! Thanks, Greg |
